Apukka Resort - Rovaniemi

We had a very relaxing stay for a one off visit.

We ate at a FANTASTIC restaurant for dinner.

I truly enjoyed great breakfast, good views.

The room was particularly good and beautiful and included an electric kettle and a refrigerator. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; and there was a bathtub. The hotel's location was marvellous, really close to the tourist attractions such as Santa's village, Easy to get to with good public transport links, and the lake in apukka.

A cozy night under the stars

Immersed in luxury, the Aurora Cabin Glass Igloo was enchanting-waking up under the stars was lovely. The serene environment made relaxation effortless.

The hot water ran out too quickly during showers. A bit more warmth in the bathroom would have enhanced the experience!

stroll to fine nature and charming landmarks with ease

We enjoyed our stay in an Aurora Cabin, Glass Igloo for 3 nights, with the amazing views of Olkkajarvi just a short walk away and the serene beauty of Vaattunkikongas almost 5 km away, making every stroll a good adventure.

The Aurora Cabin offers a magical experience for northern lights viewing, with a clear glass roof that captures the sky beautifully. Spending cozy nights by the private fire pit is a great way to unwind after a day of activities.

The room sizes feel cramped, which might be a downer for those expecting more space. The bathroom had a noticeable smell that didn't add to the comfort. Dining options were limited during off-peak days, leaving few choices for meals, and most of the snow gear provided came with unpleasant odors that were hard to ignore.

great experience but a few minor hiccups

The glass igloo experience was lovely and offered a lovely view of the stars.

Our stay was slightly impacted by some noise from nearby activities.

The additional costs for activities left a sour taste. Many basic amenities should be included!!! Shuttle availability could really improve. The limited service hours were inconvenient for excursions!!!

definitely want to stay in that area again

The Aurora Cabin Glass Igloo was awesome. It had a cozy seating area and a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower. The breakfast offered a tasty variety with local flavors and fresh pastries. Plus, the hot tub was super relaxing after our outdoor adventures. The sauna was a great way to unwind too!

The breakfast was really good, with a great variety. The staff was helpful. The counter girl took her time to show us around on the map. Her patience stood out, along with the eagerness of the other staff to assist us.

The cabin offered lovely views and was warm, perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly. Food options could improve, as breakfast was sometimes underwhelming, and having a sauna included would be nice. Still, watching the Northern Lights from bed was lovely.

I loved the cozy ambiance of my Aurora Cabin, with its fine glass wall that offered amazing views of the snowy landscape and Northern Lights. The accessibility features made moving around easy and enjoyable.

Better signage for paths from cabins to restaurants.

Totally recommend for a brief pit stop

Beautiful cabin, beautiful design, with amazing windows offering an very nice view and a gorgeous warm interior. The breakfast was superb with a huge array of foods and included easy access to free parking.

The glass igloo was very nice! Wi-Fi was spotty in our room.

The resort has a stunning location close to shops for convenience and offers unique rooms. the free breakfast is amazing, including local delicacies like Lapis bread. - the staff were all very polite and helpful.
